Dustin Latham rejects plea offer and wants his bail reduced


Hearing for assault suspect Dustin Latham  scheduled for 3/21 was continued to 3/24. Latham rejected the People's plea offer. On 3/21 Latham waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

There is a defense motion to reduce bail scheduled for 3/30. Trial confirmation is on 5/5; jury trial on 5/16.

Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell is Latham's attorney.



3/30: Motion to reduce bail was continued to 4/5 by defense to allow Ms. O'Connell to appear on the case, she is out of the office today due to illness. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke appeared for her in court.
