Trump: "So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop."

Since yesterday evening, I have been watching ABC News coverage of the elections and will continue to today. There are many votes yet to be counted and from what was reported early a.m., Pennsylvania votes could take days.

This election had a record turnout and every vote should be counted. I saw Joe Biden
and President Trump give their speeches.

Trump declared a premature victory and threatened legal action. "So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop."

Biden's campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillonsaid, "The counting will not stop. It will continue until every duly cast vote is counted. Because that is what our laws — the laws that protect every Americans' constitutional right to vote — require."

"We repeat what the Vice President said tonight: Donald Trump does not decide the outcome of this election. Joe Biden does not decide the outcome of this election. The American people decide the outcome of this election. And the democratic process must and will continue until its conclusion."

Legal analysts, commenters, including Republican
Chris Christie, stated right after President Trump's speech, that he has no legal authority to stop votes from being counted. There can be legal challenges after the votes have been counted.

Christie said, "I disagree with what he did tonight.” Dana Perino called it "deeply irresponsible."  Ben Shapiro tweeted, "No, Trump has not already won the election, and it is deeply irresponsible for him to say he has."
