After his preliminary hearing, charges of corporal injury and brandishing a weapon were dismissed against Solomon Tuaila a few minutes ago. He was held to answer to misdemeanor charges of vandalism.
Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Tuaila's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta is the prosecutor for the case.
Retired Judge John Feeney made his ruling and said based on Jane Doe's testimony and a deputy's testimony, he did not find sufficient evidence to hold Tualia to certain charges.
I just watched part of the ruling while checking on another case. There was a request regarding PC 243 by Ms. Acosta, which was not charged in the complaint and was denied by Judge Feeney.
