At trial confirmation for murder suspect Hugo Parral-Aguirre this morning, a further trial confirmation was scheduled on July 15 at the request of Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell.
She said she just returned to Conflict Counsel this Monday from her position as Interim Publuc Defender and has not met with Aguirre yet. She plans to meet with him early next week.
Aguirre is charged with attempted murder of HCSO Deputy Rosalie Freixas; attempted murder of Carol Fuentes; false imprisonment of Courtney Schlapicohl and assault with a firearm on HCSO Sgt. Greg Musson.
