Words Worth Big D 6:50 PM:

John - An update as of 6:42 pm, according to HCSO unit "1 Echo" over the radio repeater system, all units are clear from that scene.

If anyone wants to listen to the HCSO main radio repeater system, all they need is a simple scanner radio capable of receiving (154.740 MHz), and there is no encryption used on the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office radio system. For sensitive info, the HCSO Deputies go to using cell phones for calling back to the HCSO dispatch.

"John as of 6:15 pm - the HCSO called over their radio system cancelling the "Code 33" on their repeater system, and released medical from the scene. I heard nothing of them finding the suspect so far while monitoring my several scanner radios"
