"We were not aware Mr. Pawlyk had proceedings this morning."



James Pawlyk had been sentenced in 2019 for one 2017 case. On July 21, there was another 2017 case on calendar.

"We were not aware Mr. Pawlyk had proceedings this morning," said Ms. Sara Zalkin, who specially appeared for Pawlyk's attorney, Mr. Russ Clanton.



Judge Kaleb Cockrum said the Apellate Court ruled that Pawlyk did not get custody credits from January 12, 2018 to January 30, 2018. This included 19 actual days and 18 4019 credits. Judge Cockrum amended tje abstract after Ms. Zalkin "submitted."

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm appeared on the case for the People.
