(Osenbaugh)
(Ignjatovic)
Ms. Sullivan asked about "two people in the green car". This challenges other statements that Coleman was the sole occupant.
Ms. Sullivan asked about the victim Johnny Renfro being involved in marijuana robberies.
Rio Dell Sgt. John Beauchaine responded, "he was involved in the marijuana industry." Sgt. Beauchaine acknowledged the possibility of Renfro being involved in marijuana robberies.
Ms. Sullivan asked about tips about the other suspects and Sgt. Beauchaine said "nothing developed."
Surveillance video from 81 Monument Road only shows a black man with long, wavy hair. The footage was sent outside Humboldt to enhance quality but the quality could not be improved. Ms. Sullivan asked Sgt. Beauchaine, " So you cannot identify the shooter by watching the video?"
There was no surveillance video at Mike McHenry or Regina Osenbaugh's house. They called Rio Dell PD and Osenbaugh's statements are, so far, the only claims presented by the People about Coleman and Ahumadamendoza.
Sgt. Beauchaine knows Osenbaugh from elementary and high school. Osenbaugh only met Coleman "a couple of times", according to her.
Sgt. Beauchaine specifically asked Osenbaugh about a business relationship with Coleman and specifically related to cannabis. She denied any relationship. So did Osenbaugh's husband, Jovan Ignjatovic.
Sgt. Beauchaine said he was given information that Osenbaugh and her husband were in a business relationship with Coleman relating to cannabis. "I was told large scale marijuana. Million dollar deals."
Ms. Sullivan brought up this point and Sgt. Beauchaine acknowledged that several eye witnesses "consistently described" a man with dreadlocks; not long wavy hair.
"Do you have any information that Jovan attempted to clean up the green Honda after it was dropped off?" Ms. Sullivan asked Sgt. Beauchaine.
"Yes, " said Sgt. Beauchaine. "I received information that Jovan had vacuumed out the car. " Osenbaugh told Sgt. Beauchaine that Ahumadamendoza had vacuumed out the car.
The murder weapon has not been located in the case. There was no bullet found in Renfro's body.
Sgt. Beauchaine said that the claim about the 9 mm bullet "is a guess."
Mr. Feimer questioned Sgt. Beauchaine further and he said that forensic pathologist Dr. Mark Super made that estimation based on the size of hole/exit wound.
The Murrish Market surveillance footage is from Sgt. Beauchaine's body cam; not the hard drive. Again, quality is an issue.
A woman at McHenry's residence identified as "another daughter" refused to come out of the house and talk with law enforcement.
Osenbaugh described Ahumadamendoza as Coleman's wife but did not say why she believed Coleman and Ahumadamendoza were married.
Sheila Middleton, the last person Renfro spoke with before he was shot." He was going to come over to her house to get "a couple of pounds of marijuana."
"She is involved in the marijuana industry," said Sgt. Beauchaine. She lives near the crime scene. Sgt. Beauchaine said that while the neighborhood is "not a high crime area there is marijuana sales activity" and he acknowledged,"suspected narcotic sales."
During redirect by Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer, Sgt. Beauchaine said that Mike McHenry moved the green Honda the night of the shooting. This was from his daughter, Osenbaugh's house to his residence.
