Mark Dare's jury trial for alleged sexual abuse of his stepdaughters scheduled for next year


Trial setting for Mark Dare was scheduled for September 11. Dare is charged with sexual abuse of his stepdaughters.

At the preliminary hearing, his wife and the mother of the two girls supported Dare.


Public Defender Marek Reavis is representing Dare. He asked Visiting Judge Terrence Boren for specific dates based on expert witness availability and his schedule. Mr. Reavis is representing s defendant charged with homicide.

Trial confirmation is scheduled for December 18. Jury trial is scheduled for January 28, 2019.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is prosecuting the case.
