Trial confirmation scheduled for Marci Kitchen this morning. Due to both Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads and Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell's schedules this morning, the trial.confirmation has been put over to 10 a.m.
There will be a discussion between Judge Kaleb Cockrum and the attorneysprivately in Chambers about the motions filed and then the case will be called "on record", hopefully by 10:15.
Judge Cockrum explained to those in the courtroom that "in custody sentencings take priority". The Kitchen case is the only case on this morning in Courtroom 2.
Joe Kitchen is here with supporters, lot of local family here for Faith Tsarnas including her aunts Dora and Carolyn Marchi and her step sister Kristen Baldwin.
Mel Pearlston, the father of Kitchen's boyfriend Josh Pearlston is here. Marci Kitchen was not in court this morning.
Deputy DA Eads is prosecuting the case. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Ms. O'Connell is representing Kitchen.
