Preliminary hearing for James Pawlyk had been continued to August 14. It was continued to August 28, after Pawlyk's Marsden motion was heard today and denied.
Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is prosecuting the case. Deputy Public Defender Brie Bennett is representing Pawlyk.
