Due to illness, James Pawlyk's preliminary hearing continued


James Pawlyk preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 10. Time estimate was increased to three hours at intervention on May 8.

Intervention rescheduled for June 18. Preliminary rescheduled for June 20.

He is very ill, confirmed both by jail and his attorney.  Preliminary hearing continued. People's witnesses include four officers.

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is prosecuting the case. Deputy Public Defender Brie Bennett is representing Pawlyk.
