Two weeks after he was acquitted in a felony case, Robert Erik Garcia found dead

Exactly two weeks after he was acquitted in a felony case that went to the jury trial, Robert Erik Garcia was found dead.

The acquittal for the felony case was on January 18.

Visiting Judge Graham A. Cribbs, who is from Riverside County, presided over the jury trial. The post I did on the verdict is linked below. I believe this was the first jury trial in Humboldt County that Judge Cribbs presided over.

Garcia still has another misdemeanor DUI case scheduled for pre-trial on 4/3/18.
