"Prison doesn't help people, man, they don't have programs."
These are the three cases that resolved with Arthur Rincon entering a plea today to "an agreed dispositon."
Before Judge Dale Reinholtsen setenced him, Rincon made a statement. He was upset about going back to prison. He kept calling the Judge, "man."
"Prison doesn't help people, man, they don't have programs," said Rincon.
Rincon said he lost his mom, his brother, before that he lost two daughters. "I used heroin. I carried a pistol because of the pain. Now, I am being sent to prison."
"I tried my best, my hardest. I had two jobs. I stayed at a clean and sober house. I am 40 years old. That's the best I have done in my life, man. Here I am, going back to prison."
"Because of me being locked up, my ex girlfriend lost her baby. Where do I put my heart?"
Rincon has credit for over 300 days. At his attorney's request, Judge Reinholtsen put a hold on his transfer until he can have some medical issues addressed next week. Total prison time, three years, 4 months. Two years of that total prison sentence is the mid term sentence for just one of his cases.
