The Humboldt County DA filed a complaint today charging Raeleen Olson aka Ravleen Lynn Olsen charging her for the October 14 arrest with felony DUI, special allegation great bodily injury to James Christopher Lee and possesion of meth. She is on the arraignment calendar now. Public Defender appointed by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Bail $75,000. OR bail on 10/20; preliminary hearing on 10/28.
10/20/26: Raeleen Olson's OR bail continued to 10/22 to file amended charges since victim has passed away. This would be the second amended complaint.
Senior Deputy DA Roger Rees appeared on the case but he is not the assigned attorney. Deputy Public Defender David Celli appeared on cases this afternoon for his office.
10/16/26: Humboldt Superior Court Judge Heather Durand denied OR and supervised release for DUI suspect Raeleen Olson and changed her status to no bail. The DA's office is still waiting on additional information before making a decision on amending charges. Court minutes from today have one error. Deputy DA Frankie Olivares is listed as appearing on the case. Deputy DA Brandon Boozari appeared on the Olson case.
