I reported on Ocean Del Castillo's arrest. Today, he was arraigned for vehicular manslaughter, driving the wrong way on a divided highway causing injury or death of Anisha Nicole Gutshall. He was just arraigned. The arraignment originally scheduled for 10/19 was vacated. Custody status changed to no bail by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Public Defender's Office appointed. OR bail on 10/20; preliminary hearing on 10/28 in the CHP case. He was also arraigned in an Arcata Police Department case for possession of cocaine which is from an October 14, 2026 arrest. Trial setting on 10/28 in that case.
