Humboldt Superior Court Judge Timothy Canning Judge signed the court order granting preliminary approval of the class settlement between Hillsdale tenants and Dwivedi LLC/Anil Dwivedi.
I said months ago and more than once, Anil Dwivedi would settle before the November 2026 election.
I have been covering all 4 lawsuits for months. This is not breaking news. I will add the order later. Most local lawyers will not take cases against local landlords. What Janssen Malloy has done with will protect future tenants. I covered this for months regularly. I saw the time Janssen Malloy put in and their were 4 lawsuits. They were threatened by Dwivedi's law firm. My readers have the complete details in previous posts; not random coverage here and there, whether it is this case or other cases. I also lived at Hillsadale Apartments last year. I am not a part of nor do I profit from this settlement as the actions did not impact me. I have mentioned my being a former tenant several times.
Even if a settlement is approved and signed, will Anil pay and when?
Status Conference for final settlement is scheduled for 4/09/2027.
