I did this post on October 15. Yesterday, Eureka Police Department arrested Quinshad Kashante Winters for PC 1551 (a) fugitive from justice who as I reported has warrants from Mississippi.
10/23/26: Today, the DA filed complaint on charging Winters with PC 1551 (a) fugitive from justice. The Harrison County warrant was for no bail. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Heather Durand appointed the Public Defender's Office. OR bail hearing on 10/27; extradition and identity hearing on 10/30. Court minutes state Public Defender did not request a supervised release report. Obviously, they should not because why would an out of county suspect be released back on Humboldt streets; yet defense requests OR bail?
