Humboldt County Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell is the sponsor of an item on the January 6 Board of Supervisors meeting recognizing Humboldt County Public Works Director Tom Mattson as recipient of the Ed Hanna Memorial Award for County Engineer of the Year.
"The Ed Hanna Memorial Award for County Engineer of the Year recognizes outstanding leadership, technical expertise and dedication to public service in county engineering. Humboldt County Public Works Director Tom Mattson has been selected for this honor in recognition of his exemplary service, professionalism and contributions to public infrastructure that benefit the residents of Humboldt County. The Board of Supervisors recognizes and acknowledges this achievement and the importance of strong engineering leadership in public service."
