I have covered Shiloh John Chase since 2014. My last post on him was in 2019.
Yesterday, he was arrested by Eureka Police Department for PC 22810 (a) unlawful use of tear gas and PC 594 (b) (1) vandalism.
At least grandma didn't have to come up with bail money this time because he was released on O.R.
Almost a decade ago, she asked me, "Why do you keep writing about my grandson?"
I responded, "Why do you keep bailing him out?"
Typical Humboldt County "generational" family and entitled "locals" response. The problem is not reporting legitimate news; it is those of you giving bad behavior a pass with no accountability and expecting the rest of society to put up with your 45 year old grandson's criminal behavior.
Local law enforcement and court resources are wasting time because of "locals" who like to sweep what is inconvenient under the rug and feel entitled to selective justice. Why should other taxpayers pay for the repeated mistakes of your family members and friends?
10/19: Chase was arrested again by Eureka Police Department for petty theft for a 2022 case.
