Setting of preliminary and status of discovery was scheduled this morning for Alderpoint homicide suspect Jake Combs was continued by defense to 3/8.
Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta appeared in court for the People. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo was in court today for Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin who is currently in trial.
Ms. Acosta addressed status of discovery. On 3/8/22, People will request a special set on a Friday for the preliminary which is expected to take all day.
Trevor Earley is the victim.
