HCSO deputies assisting with looting patrol in communities affected by the #MonumentFire in Trinity County sent along this photo today.
This photo was taken about a hundred yards from a house the deputies were patrolling. People are still coming and going in these restricted areas with active fire, so our deputies must stay close-by to protect the homes from theft.
Multiple HCSO deputies have been deployed to Trinity County this week to assist with public safety services related to the Monument Fire. While it means time away from our families, we are happy to be able to assist our neighbors in their time of need.
