Brian Leiteritz case resolves before trial

 


Judge John Feeney said at the last case that the Brian Leiteritz case should resolve before trial and it did on August 5. Sentencing is on September 28. 

Judge Feeney indicated he would place Leiteritz on probation.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward is the prosecutor for the case. Leiteritz's attorneys are Mr. Michael Robinson and Ms. Heidi Holmquist-Wells.

Leiteritz is charged with Count 1 voluntary manslaughter and the special allegation of use of a deadly weapon in the commission of the crime and Count 2 Assault  with a deadly weapon and special allegation of causing great bodily injury/death.




9/28: The sentencing for Leiteritz was a special set for Judge Feeney. He was not available so sentencing was continued to October 5.
