I was contacted by a concerned citizen about Sonia Hunsucker's release.
Victims and their families have found out previously from my blog someone has been released as well as other information on criminals; Sonia Hunsucker is not the only one.
"I felt it should be brought to the community's attention that Sonia Lexion Hunsucker has returned to our neck of the woods. As far as I'm aware, her probation hearing is not until 2022, which may explain why her victim's families were not notified. I also recall that the DA,Maggie Fleming, stated she would personally respond to Miss Hunsucker's petition for retrial. I don't know if she did, or if that case was ever brought back to court. What I do know is that Miss Hunsucker was released on 07/30/2021 from the jail report."
"It came to my attention after a quick search when an eyewitness stated that she is now living on the Yurok reservation where people are still reeling from a crime spree leading up to her involvement with two murders. I have family in the communities she haunts and they were not spared of her deviance. I worry for them now and I am angry that we were not warned."
"What I'm wondering, is how the line of communication broke so far down during the pandemic that someone involved in County wide mayhem can quietly return home without so much as a phone call?"
