Convicted sex offender Randy Knopf repeats his pattern

Eureka Police Department did their job and took Randy Knopf into custody on a bench warrant. He violated parole and was released back to parole.

California repeat offenders, especially sex offenders know there are no consequences. In addition to wasting law enforcement time and resources, California legislators do not care about children and the community. Humboldt Judges need to stop giving chances to criminals who refuse to change. Mental illness has been overused as an excuse by local defendants and it is a way for the jail and courts to deal with an overwhelmed system.
