I got clarification from Ms. Kim Bartleson, Court Executive Officer and Jury Commissioner of the Humboldt County Superior Court.



"The spectator seating will be occupied by jurors only throughout the trial, no one else. The second floor is not opening on July 13th. We are still finalizing plans and will send out an additional press release in the near future."
