Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 417 by Senator Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada Flintridge) – California Victim Compensation Board: claim.
This bill immediately appropriates $5,087,040 from the General Fund to the executive officer of the board for payment of the claims of specified individuals. It is an urgency statute.
