When you are a convicted felon, take the plea deal for three cases, instead of trying to posture on Zoom

At trial confirmation on from June 22 for convicted felon Robert Cullen, a further trial confirmation was scheduled for this morning.

The case almost resolved but when Mr. Michael Acosta discussed the offer with his client, particularly the two probation cases, Cullen come back with a counter offer of dismiss a strike and allegation.

Deputy DA Jane Mackie was in court today on the case and stated reasons that was not possible. The People's offer was for 6 years, 4 months.

Trial assignment and possible change of plea  is scheduled for July 2. Jury trial is scheduled on July 6.

Cullen has a 2019 case and two 2017 VOP cases. In his most recent case, Cullen is charged with 14 counts.

Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm was in court for the People on June 22.
