"I haven't been allowed to speak since I got here. I will speak if I want to."

Jennifer Chilson's attorney, Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner declared doubt this morning. Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees appeared on the case for the People.

Before the hearing concluded, Chilson went off on a rant. She ignored requests to stop talking on record.

"My husband and I divorced, " Chilson repeated twice. "The Fortuna Police Department will be sued for false allegations. I will plead the fifth. I haven't been allowed to speak since I got here. I will speak if I want to." This is when audio was muted.

Chilson had four cases on calendar this morning. I have seen her name in the jail log and on the court calendars. I was waiting for another case to be called.

Dr's report is due July 21.
