Based on the investigation into the June 23, 2020 bank robbery on 5th Street, Stephen David Long (70 of Eureka) was identified as the suspect. On June 24, 2020, at about 9:00 a.m., detectives located Long at a hotel on the 200 block of 5th Street in Eureka.
Long was taken into custody without further incident. Long was transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for robbery and parole violation. We would like to thank the community for providing information which led to the swift arrest of Long.
