EPD needs information on bank robbery suspect
On June 23, 2020, at about 3:58 p.m., officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a bank on the 700 block of 5th Street for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Based on the investigation, it appears a male entered the bank and presented a note to a teller demanding money. The male was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot without further incident. No weapons were seen or displayed.
The male suspect is described as a white male, 50’s to 60’s, salt and pepper gray hair and was wearing a blue surgical mask and jean jacket. Surveillance photo is attached.
Anyone with information on the male’s identity is asked to contact Detective Corrie Watson at (707) 441-4032. This is an active investigation and further information will be released as available.
