I updated my link yesterday about weekend events and the Saturday protest being cancelled. I have reached out to law enforcement and others regarding Humboldt Grassroots' latest post.
The Courthouse is closed on weekends. People who live here know this fact. There were and have been no law enforcement cars in the vicinity today other than patrol cars as normal.
This is a perfect example of misinformation and inflammatory rhetoric and irresponsibility on social media.
Sheriff William Honsal told me, "The Courthouse is not open on weekends. It is business as usual. I am not going to comment on what Humboldt Grassroots posts on their page."
