Setting of preliminary hearing and confirmation of receipt of discovery is scheduled on June 29 for local attorney Michael Acosta and co-defendant Sarah Carroll.
As of yesterday, Carroll has parted ways with Mr. Russ Clanton. She is going to need a new attorney.
Unlike Mario Alexander, John Beideman, Michael Franco, Kailan Meserve, Timothy Littlefield and others who are now serving prison sentences, Carroll made a wise decision.

Thanks man I met with russ the other day for the first time and I really just had one question for him but he kept interrupting me and not letting me ask him the question I was trying to ask him was " are you willing to fight the"man" like do things like recuse the D.A.'s
ReplyDeleteOffice and get a change of venue and get rid of the last to judges which really they should be recusing themselves because of conflicts and because of other reasons that will come out in this whole case. But when he kept interrupting me and talking at me like I was a complete dumb a** I just said to him if michael files something in our case do I get the benefit of it to because we are codefenfants and he said well mostly. So I said thank you that's all I need to know and I walked out and he said I'll get you another lawyer I said no thank you I will get my own lawyer. And I'm not 100% but i am pretty sure he held Fuck You to me as I was leaving his office. That guy is a joke and way to sure of himself. But I might just go pro per until the trial.and then maybe hire tony serra who will wipe the floor with any DA around here. Anyways thanks for having my back on the matter.
I was tempted to make my post headline, Sarah Carroll tells Russ Clanton, " You are fired." Every one is entitled to the best defense they can get and have your attorney fight for you. Anyone who reads my blog regularly and those who call me for references know that I will only refer them to the best because I know the dynamics, I know the courts, I know the players and I know the workers.
