Criminal proceedings restored for woman who allegedly broke into EPD officer's house
Jacquelyn Bradley had a hearing scheduled on June 9. Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Bradley's attorney and she practices in other counties. She was unaware this was on calendar today. She received notice last minute, requested from the clerk's office that this be moved to this morning.
Today, competency was restored. Criminal proceedings were reinstated.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer had to call Ms. Sullivan during livestream at the last hearing to get information because the calendaring request to move the hearing to June 11 was not done.
Bradley had already been brought to the jail conference room and the hearing was continued.
Confirmation of transport and receipt of report was originally scheduled for June 23. Bradley was transported back to the Humboldt County jail from Napa State Hospital one day after these dates were scheduled.
Bradley has three cases. One was a 2019 burglary case after she allegedly broke into an EPD officer's house. Charges for her other 2019 case is driving with a suspended/revoked license. Charge for her 2018 case is alleged violation of parole.
OR/bail hearing is scheduled for 6/16.
