Lorna Leen's preliminary hearing was scheduled for November 7. I reported yesterday that an order for shortening time was filed. A motion in limine has been filed on behalf of a juvenile witness by Deputy Conflict Counsel Leslie Keig. The Public Defender's office represents Leen, the defense filed a motion to continue.
That motion was granted for good cause after Judge Dale Reinholtsen, Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees, Deputy DA Jessica Watson, Deputy Deputy Public Defender Rebecca Linkous met in a closed courtoom.
Resetting of preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 20.
Brandon Brocius's family and friends were present wearing their Justice for Brandon shirts.
