HCSO is enroute to Mirandas Rescue, Sandy Prairie Road Fortuna. Some guy named Jose was seen on video by the manager; also a dead dog there. The initial information was from a reader/scanner tip.
I just spoke with Shannon Miranda. The dead dog has nothing to do with the guy who trespassed.
Shannon Miranda told me the incident happened over Thanksgiving. His son called him and said someone had jumped over a ten foot fence. That person claimed he did so allegedly to look for his dog. This 19 year old sent Shannon Miranda a digital recording of himself providing evidence of the alleged trespass.
Shannon called HCSO today to make a report about the 19 year old. There was a dead dog but that dog was "very hyperstatic", said Shannon Miranda. The dog may have had a heart attack. The dead dog had nothing to do with the alleged tresspasser.
Has anyone checked on why the dog died?????? If a dog was ‘very hyperstatic,’ why he wasn’t rushed to ER?
