KMart property in Eureka has been sold; will it be used for large scale cannabis processing?

On November 15, I received a tip. My source was told by a local contractor that the Kmart property closed escrow this week.  "The new owner intends to convert it to large scale weed processing facility."

The person who gave the information to my source "runs Blankenship Const/Solar Gates out of Ferndale."

According to the same source, the new owner was going door to door looking for willing property sellers to put up 4-story “barns” for processing.

County records list  John Mcnellis from Palo Alto as well as Mary Walters and Mike Powers as the owners of 4325 Broadway.

I was able to confirm today with two other sources that the KMart property in Eureka sale is connected to the local Papa and Barkley business on 4th street, however the sale is still in the works.
