New carpeting at 234 F street in Eureka, at the old location for the Wine Spot but yesterday there was no sign indicating what the new business will be.
Today, a sign said The Scruffy Nerd Herder, new location opening soon. I just spoke with the owner John Coombs and he told me they are moving from their present location on 226 F street, just two doors down.
One reason is that they will have two restrooms that are available with that location. Another reason is that they are going to start serving beer. The plan now is to be at the new location by the new year.
