Murder suspect David Kobak's jury trial is scheduled for October 29. Trial confirmation is scheduled on October 17. The victim was Kobak's roomate, Frederick William Loftus.
This morning there was a hearing scheduled on the defense motion to continue. The hearing got continued since Deputy District Attorney Whitney Barnes is in trial.
10/11 update: Motion to continue granted. Trial setting on November 29.
Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is representing Kobak. Deputy District Attorney Whitney Barnes is prosecuting the case.
