Preliminary hearing for Ulisses Rodriguez was to be reset once coroner and autopsy reports are completed

Intervention was scheduled for murder suspect Ulisses Rodriguez today.

Rodriguez is charged with the murders of Tiffany Ellebrecht and Jeremy Kuemmel.

District Attorney Maggie Fleming told me that the preliminary hearing set for October 16 was vacated after the defense filed a motion to continue. Instead, intervention is scheduled that day.

"We are waiting for the coroner/autopsy reports and were going to reset the preliminary hearing to a date when we can expect those reports to be completed. " said Ms. Fleming.

"The defendant did not waive time" so the preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 10/18.
