One arrest record comes up for Peter Samuel Triantos, the victim in yesterday's homicide near 9th and H in Arcata.
"The second suspect is 22-year-old Peter Samuel Triantos. He's wanted for Three Counts of Distribution of Controlled Substances."

I have contacted APD Chief Richard Ehle to see if the local investigation has resulted in any mention of marijuana or drugs being involved.
On Saturday, I received the following response: "At this time I have nothing to add to our Press Release. It is far too early to discuss motive and specific elements of the investigation."
Triantos has no local record of being booked in the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
