Trial confirmation was scheduled for alleged molestor Chad Smith on October 18. Jury trial is set for November 5.
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer appeared in court today for Ms. Eads.
Ms. Andrea Sullivan was appointed to represent Smith. She has provided one expert report to the DA; one is outstanding. She maybe filing a motion but confirmed trial today.
Amy Smith, Jane Doe's mother was in court. So was Chad Smith's brother.
