Goose's wings being clipped questioned, defense asks for Ray Christie's cell phone and guns to be returned

Ray Christie was in court this morning with his attorney, Ken Bareilles for a hearing on status of subpoenaed records.

Request for discovery and request for items such as guns and Christie's cell phone to be returned was raised by the defense. Deputy District Attorney A.J. Kamada said the investigation was still ongoing. Defense said it had been 7 months since the search warrant had been executed.

Mr. Bareiiles told me that contrary to what was reported elsewhere, today in court, the DA said that they never said the goose wings were clipped. The goose is being cared for at Humboldt State. Arrangements are being made for the defense to have a vet inspect the goose. Christie is facing one misdemeanor charge of capture or possession of the goose.
