Walmart agrees to pay cashiers $65 million in settlement
In a settlement that must be approved by a federal judge, Walmart has agreed "to pay $65 million to nearly 100,000 current and former cashiers in California" and provide seating for them.
The lawsuit was one of the first brought under a California law that requires seating for employees "when the nature of the work reasonably permits."

It sounds like a lot but it is only $650 per employee and that is even before the lawyers get their cut.
