"Unfortunately, we were expecting this filing and yes, it is frustrating! We are desperate to see this case resolved!"

I spoke with Faith Tsarnas' stepdad Mark and her mother Stephanie Baldwin today regarding the change of venue filing.

While there are other members of Faith's family that are local and attend every court hearing, the Baldwins are miles away in Southern California. They were here for the preliminary hearing. They have attended certain court hearings and will be there for the entire jury trial.

The Baldwins, like family members of Kiya Kitchen, have anxiously waited as this case moves it's way through the Humboldt County Court System.

They told me "Unfortunately, we were expecting this filing and yes, it is frustrating! We are desperate to see this case resolved! We understand and appreciate that every decision has to be weighed and balanced, however, that does not mean that we like it. Meanwhile, it should be stated that we are thankful for the efforts put forth on our behalf by all of the members of law enforcement and the District Attorney's office, whom ultimately are anxious to proceed without any more delays as well."
