Eureka City Council has extended the meeting to 11 p.m.

What will be decided? They are still on the H and I street item. Council chose concept 1; three travel lanes reduced to two. Vote was 4-1 with Councilmember Marian Brady dissenting.

10 p.m.: Progress. Meeting is on HACHR item. Brandie Wilson left earlier. Two additional members added to the community advisory board.

  1. OMG traffic will be backed up to Arcata, are these people insane. It's already turning into Willits at times. No No No we actually need to extend to the three lanes North and South of town. Population is and has been and will continue to grow you idiots. Cal Trans intimate domain and go around it and then you can screw it up however you want Eureka. Bypass first!

  2. Oh and by the way Eureka please do something about the Pimps and Whores. While working in Eureka on Saturday and going to Costco we got behind a black first gen Dodge Dully with Oregon plates going TEN! miles an hour three fic'n times trolling for Hooker's. This guy must of been blind or really picky. Luckily there were THREE LANES to get around him.

  3. I'm with Rusty. This is going to destroy traffic--who cares about the cars when we could create a bike lane for the fifteen people who ride bikes. Thank heaven our project is almost over and I'll be out of here. My deputy departed last week and he said "Happiness is Eureka in your rear view mirror."
