Preliminary hearing for former correctional deputy Cory Fisher vacated

There was an intervention scheduled for former HCSO correctional deputy Cory Fisher this afternoon.  He is charged with  alleged sexual abuse of six minor male victims.

His attorney, Deputy Conflict Counsel, Mr. Marek Reavis told Judge Christopher Wilson that he had received "additional discovery" that he needed to go over with Fisher this weekend.

Mr. Reavis asked that the preliminary hearing scheduled for February 13 be vacated.  A setting date is scheduled for February 15 at 10:15.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was able to speak to some of the victims. She told Judge Wilson that she submitted since defense had "good cause."

No other media was in court.
