Henley turns down plea offer in Blue Heron case, wants her day in court!

No surprise. Desiree Henley was held to answer after her preliminary hearing to charges of arson of the Blue Heron as well as aiding and abetting her co-defendant Kattie Yocum in the alleged crime.

Arraignment on information is February 15.

There was an offer made at the last court hearing. Henley refused to accept the plea offer, argued with her attorney this morning about the evidence the People had despite being shown photos and other evidence.

Two EPD officers, Officer Heinrich Soltow and Wayne Rabang were the prosecution witnesses.

I did not cover testimony of the two officers since there were several other cases on all day.  The information testified to by the People's witnesses is basically the same as the co-defendant Kattie Yocum's hearing and nothing that has not been covered already.

Deputy District Attorney A.J. Kamada is prosecuting the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel Marek Reavis is representing Henley.
