"Nothing to report out of closed session"

Board of Supervisors just came out of closed session. No one else here except Humboldt Access filming the meeting. Deputy County Counsel Blair Angus said, "nothing to report out of closed session."

Supervisor Estelle Fennell absent.

  1. Makes me think of the three monkeys, except in this case it's:
    See nothing that incriminates me
    Say nothing that incriminates me
    Hear nothing that incriminates me

  2. Please elaborate on the significance of this "closed session".
What do members of the public and press infer regarding this meeting?
Thank you John for your informative, fact based news service.

    1. I knew that most likely nothing would be stated on the record, but sometimes it is, so I chose to attend the closed session. No one else had any official verification whether David Marcus had left. It was an opportunity to ask the Board of Supervisors about the 24 hour notice and see what I could get on record. I also asked them when I could call for a follow up to get something on record. I did my due diligence and followed up that evening to report after Marcus handed in his official resignation and Supervisors could confirm that fact. I also attempted to contact Jeffrey Blanck and PIO Sean Quincey that day. I was also able to reach Mr. Griego. The word of deputy public defenders who have a bias in this case and had no official verification was not good enough for me.

  4. Wait - Blair Angus is still at County Counsel? After filing false documents and otherwise behaving in a highly unethical manner? WTF?
