No surprise, Katherine Zacevich fails to show up in court, bench warrant issued

PG & E gate crasher Katherine Zacevich had a pre trial conference scheduled today. After hearing from both attorneys, Judge Dale Reinholtsen issued a bench warrant and said defendant should not be released on OR.

People requested an increase in bail stating defendant had committed two crimes since she was released from custody. Defense asked for notice if People wanted the bail amount  increased. Judge Reinholtsen agreed. Zacevich's attorney David Lee argued that people had not filed charges for the two new crimes and could not ask for increase in bail without notice.

Jury trial scheduled for December 18 was vacated.

Zacevich has been arrested twice since she has been out of custody. She refused to come to court on November 7, her last court hearing.
