Accident at 5th and V

Accident 5th and V. He said two vehicles involved. Quality "not very clear as all traffic lights are flashing red."

Reader spoke to someone who witnessed the accident, "The white car ran red light and was hit by black car. The white car was crossing 5th on V and was hit by black car that was heading north on 5th."


"All traffic from Myrtle is being detoured onto 6th street."

EPD and Humboldt Bay Fire on scene. No ambulance on scene. No injuries reported, so far.

"Almost had another wreck.  A car northbound ran thru red flashing light & almost hit a pickup which was crossing 5th."
